    The beach was right there.

The unit was filthy and run down. We wore our flip flops the entire time we were inside because the flooring was so dirty. The window casings are moldy, the doors need to be replaced, the carpet needs to be removed and tile put in, the dishes and utensils were dirty, some even had dead insects on them. This was the worst place I have ever stayed at! Yes, the beach was right there and the price was lower than many of the other places on the Cape, but still, it was not worth the money. I would not recommend to anyone nor would I come back.

    Fabulous

I liked the location. It was near most of the things that I wanted to do. I loved the sound of the ocean while I was sleeping.

My adult children, on the other hand, did not like the lack of air conditioning. It was humid and the couch felt damp. There was one box fan in the apt. We brought two with us. The last night there, we needed all three fans. There were some things that needed repairs. The screens of both doors were torn. Both doors were very difficult to open. The front door had some rust on it (I know you are going to get that close to the water). There was no place to hand a towel so that it would dry. That is important when you are at the beach.

Nothing, website photos and description were very misleading. Unit (8) was dirty, in poor condition and unsafe. The checking staff was very helpful though!

    The location

the rooms are very small. You are nickled and dimed for everything. For example the unit I had accomadated 5 people yet were charged $10.00 per person per night for any additional folks after two. An extra fee to park an additional car. The rooms are hot and musty.

    Very good

The Location was lovely. The registration desk woman was very friendly and nice. The room was very clean.

The two bedroom unit was claustrophobic, mostly the bedrooms. The maid we had did her work well. The room was very clean but she was very unfriendly towards us.The weather was typical hot August weather and the unit had no air conditioner. It had ceiling fans that were useless for cooling the rooms in peak heat. We were given two small hotel size soaps and one small shampoo to use for a 5 day stay. I didn't ask for more because I figured it might be motel policy.

    The view of the water.

We had to clean the windows ourselves to actually see the water. The windows and screens were filthy! The shades were ripped and didn't work. The blinds were missing slats. There wasn't even a plug in the bathroom. The carpets and bedspread were filthy too. The lights switches didn't work either. We almost got locked in the room a few times because the locks on the doors stuck! That would have been awful! We stayed out of the room as much as possible.

    Fabulous

The motel is beautifully placed, right by the sea. There is also a public beach a short walk from the motel. It is close to some great restaurants - The Swan River restaurant stood out. The personnel is very nice and accommodating. The motel is family-friendly, the area was pretty quiet at night.

Some repairs and updates are needed. The mattresses are a definite minus.

    Fabulous

right on the beach with our own private beach area. Dennisport good location. Very quiet street location and room served it's purpose. We liked having the 2 bedrooms and we used the kitchen. really is tight for 5 people though.

we had to move after the 1st night to another room because they didn't have 1 room for 3 straight nights. it was not a problem at all really and the 2nd room wound up to be nicer. the first room was more run down. kitchen cabinets old and bathroom old. beds were hard. the 5th person had to sleep on couch or air mattress.

    Very good

The motel is very reasonably priced. The staff are very nice and accommodating.

It is such a shame that the units have no Air Conditioning. The Stairs leadihg down to the beach should be bigger in width. They are dangerous to senior citizens. I noticed that repairs need to be made on the foundation over unit A. It is such a shame that the units are so tiny. It is hard for "bigger" people to move around with any comfort and ease.

    Fabulous

The motel is placed just by the wonderful sandy Beach, we where in the water five times a day. A big thanks to Peggy for great help at the reception. A good tip: go to Provincetown on the whaletrip.

The room was to small for six people( but it was actually for max five)

    Fabulous

I really enjoyed my stay at the Garlands. We had two bed-rooms unit on the 2nd floor, with a very good ocean view. The unit is rather small, but very neat and in good conditions. I’d say it’s comfortable enough for 4 people, not more. Also, a girl came every morning around 10 am to clean and change towels. What I liked the most is that the hotel has its own private beach and a large deck with a splendid view! There are two public beaches nearby, but they were pretty crowded. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful – she let us check in around 12 am and explained where we can find a decent grocery store. If you’re planning on cooking, there is a large grocery store within 10 min drive. The ocean was surprisingly warm and calm, so we could enjoy swimming. I’d definitely like to go back to the Garlands next year with my son.

There was no a/c in the unit, but we kept windows opened and it was enough.

    Fabulous

Sited on the beach, easy access to the sea. Quiet surroundings away from the hussle of bigger towns.

Air con in the room would have been nice.

    On the beach

Small beach when tide comes up, very small rooms, could be cleaned better ( young school kids work there) would ne nice to have grills / picnic tables on the lawn garbage cans when you come off the beach!
